The 2021 Tobacco Short Course will be held in Raleigh from February 1 - 5. The event will begin on the evening of Monday, February 1st with a welcome dinner and tobacco production overview. A one day flue-cured tobacco grading seminar will be hosted in conjunction with USDA-AMS on February 2nd. Classroom lectures from NC State faculty will follow on the 3rd and 4th. The Short Course will end with recognition at the Commissioners Breakfast on the morning of the 5th at the State Fairgrounds. More information will follow and applications will be made available in early-December.
This event is currently planned to take place, but will be organized based upon COVID-19 policy from the State of North Carolina, NC State Extension, and NC State University. Please check back for further details in November.
